Congratulations to Rob MacLeod for being elected a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE). After very careful consideration, including the most rigorous and selective review process in AIMBE's history, Rob was among an impressive group who were elected to the 2017 Class of the College of Fellows.
Fellows are nominated each year by their peers and represent the top 2% of the medical and biological engineering community. They are considered the life-blood of AIMBE and work towards realizing AIMBE's vision to provide medical and biological engineering innovation for the benefit of humanity.
The College of Fellows – 1,500 individuals who are the outstanding bioengineers in academia, industry and government. These leaders in the field have distinguished themselves through their contributions in research, industrial practice and/or education. Most Fellows come from the United States, but there are international Fellows. The Chair of the College leads the committee that plans the overall program at AIMBE's Annual Event, held each winter in Washington.
