Background

I live in Highland, Utah with my wife. I am an undergraduate student in the Biomedical Engineering Program. I plan on pursuing a master's degree and a PhD in this field. I am also working towards a minor in computer science, and enjoy programming in my spare time.

Current Responsibilities

We are working on creating FE models of the pediatric cervical spine. My responsibilities have so far included the preparation of the models for the FE experiments. This involves segmentation of CT data to form the basis of the model. This is followed by modification of the model to include soft tissue such as cartilage and tendons.

Research Interests

As an undergraduate, I have not yet had a lot of research experience. However, I hope to eventually research and help to develop sensory prosthetics.
