Background

Kevin received his Bachelors and Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Texas-Austin. He has led a diverse career across pharmaceutical, contract research and pharmaceutical technology industries with an emphasis in mass spectrometry and bioanalysis. In 2011, Kevin joined the BioInnovations Gateway, a unique state-funded business incubator in a high school, and later moved to the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development as the Life Science Cluster Director to further connect business and education. He continues to have one foot in the laboratory as a chemist and technical consultant to several start-up companies.

Current Responsibilities

Kevin has joined the University of Utah to oversee a Department of Defense, Office of Economic Adjustment grant that promotes Utah's composites industry through economic and workforce development initiatives.
