Background

I received my M.Sc. degree in mathematics with a minor in physics from the University of Münster, Germany, in 2011.
Until 2016, I worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Biomagnetism, University of Münster, Germany, on improving the accuracy of EEG/MEG source localization by solving the EEG/MEG forward problem using finite element methods.
I received my Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Münster, Germany, in 2016.

Current Responsibilities

In April 2016, I joined the laboratory of Dr. Chris Butson at the SCI institute as a Postdoctoral Fellow. As a part of an NSF project, I work on the implementation of a pipeline for the remote management of deep brain stimulation (DBS) patients using the Utah telehealth network (UTN).
