Background

I received a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida in 2003, and worked with virtual environments and advanced display techniques for Old Dominion University's Center for Advanced Engineering Environments from 2004 to 2007. I received my MS degree in 2009 from the University of Utah working on projects related to medical simulations and automated segmentation of medical images.

Current Responsibilities

I am currently working for Dr. Sarang Joshi as lead software developer for the AtlasWerks project, a set of high-performance tools for generating diffeomorphic deformations and medical image atlases on a variety of hardware, from standard personal computers to large CPU or GPU clusters.

Research Interests

  • Scientific visualization
  • Image processing
  • Interesting problems in general
